being established as a national sector-specific center for research, engineering solutions, certification, and personnel training for the oil refining and petrochemical industries of the Republic of Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">The establishment of the Institute is aimed at addressing the strategic, technological, and economic objectives of the industry, increasing its sustainability, technological independence, and competitiveness, as well as forming a modern platform for the introduction of innovation, standardization, and applied developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">The project is being implemented in line with the objectives set out in the Concept for the Development of the Oil Refining Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025\u20132040, as well as in the context of strengthened technical regulation and state control requirements within the EAEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-cyan-bluish-gray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\">To establish in Kazakhstan a core sector-specific research institute that provides scientific support, engineering expertise, development of certification infrastructure, and training of highly qualified personnel in the field of oil refining and petrochemistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-cyan-bluish-gray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity introduction of innovative, environmentally friendly, and energy-efficient solutions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-10\" style=\"font-size:20px\">the improvement of the efficiency of enterprises in the industry;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-11\" style=\"font-size:24px\">The Institute is focused on the comprehensive implementation of the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-15\" style=\"font-size:20px\">studying the current state of the oil refining and petrochemical industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-16\" style=\"font-size:20px\">identifying key challenges, limitations, and growth points;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-17\" style=\"font-size:20px\">developing a research strategy focused on innovative technologies and processes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-18\" style=\"font-size:20px\">assessing the potential for implementing environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-19\" style=\"font-size:20px\">reducing the negative environmental impact of production activities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-20\" style=\"font-size:20px\">analyzing and adapting best international practices with due regard to Kazakhstan\u2019s conditions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-21\" style=\"font-size:20px\">training and retraining specialists, researchers, and management personnel;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-22\" style=\"font-size:20px\">developing partnerships with leading scientific organizations, universities, and companies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-23\" style=\"font-size:20px\">developing sectoral regulatory legal acts and national standards;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-24\" style=\"font-size:20px\">introducing research results into real industrial
